Mothership

Mothership was formed by Mike Aikman and Jason Scott in 2005 as an events company; delivering events, training, drinks creation, consultancy and advocacy for brands.

In 2006 we opened Bramble, which has gone on to win many awards, including Observer Food Monthly, top ten in World’s 50 Best Bars, Tales of The Cocktail nominations and a Scottish Style Award. This was followed by sister bars The Saint in 2009, The Last Word in 2012 and Lucky Liquor in 2013.

More recently, the company has been more focused on product development and launched its own range of products, from bottled cocktails to single cask whiskies (Bramble Whisky Co), our core range of Braemble, Cross Brew, Sea Wolf Rum and most recently Lucky Liqueurs. Finally, in 2019 we launched Base Spirits, a modern distribution company with our friends and colleagues at Langstane Liquor Co!
