We are proud to offer Bramble Whisky Company’s newest offering, an Ardmore distilled in 2008.
Closely following our lightning-fast selling Lochindaal, this Highland distillery seems to finally be getting the recognition it deserves from peat lovers. Unusually, this Ardmore was aged in a bourbon cask which previously
contained an Islay whisky. We feel this adds an extra layer of complexity to the usual smoky profile you get from Ardmore.

- Aged full term in an ex-Islay cask (a distillery beginning with L) which held bourbon prior.
- “Drinking strength” of 50% ABV
- Only 270 bottles were drawn from this cask.

The label was designed by a local Edinburgh-based artist, Itsaso San Sebastian Dominguez.

Tasting Notes
Nose – Coastal peat, spice, hops, fresh grass and apples
Palate – Sweet and elegant peat, then salted cashew nuts and spiced apple juice.
Finish – Calm peat, a touch of brine and more fruit juice but then a long char.
BRAMBLE WHISKY CO #5 - SINGLE CASK Tamdhu
ABV – 51% | Size - 70cl
_Unconventional, in more ways than one._
Aside from the eye-catching design, it's pretty rare to find a Tamdhu from an independent bottler. Add to that, the 8 years spent in an ex-Oloroso sherry hogshead, and you've got one remarkable whisky.
